  • Phase II Site Assessments
  • Phase III Site Assessments

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are conducted in accordance with either the Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process (American Society for Testing and Materials, Designation E 1527) or tailored to a client's specific needs.

If areas of concern are identified on or off-site during a Phase I assessment, a Phase II field sampling effort which supports the objectives of our client is initiated. A Phase II evaluation typically includes sampling of soil, groundwater, surface waters, or suspected hazardous materials on or off the subject property. Data from the sampling effort is compiled and evaluated to determine the extent of the liability at a site.

RDH provides this specialized environmental assessment service to assist clients in both the public and private sector in complying with various environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and NEPA.

For specific questions regarding environmental site assessments, please contact Wynston Holbrook, Manager of Environmental Services, at (804) 764-6503 or wholbrook@rdhva.com.
