RDH’s primary goal is to provide the needed skills to clients as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.  Projects are managed by a single project manager, who has ultimate responsibility to ensure that all the client's needs and expectations are not only met, but exceeded for the duration of the project.  In virtually every project that is undertaken, a multidisciplinary team is assembled by the project manager, and the project is completed in a technically sound, efficient and cost-effective manner.

RDH has extensive professional experience in providing civil engineering and environmental services to a wide spectrum of clients.  Over the past decade we have witnessed many changes, improvements, and regulations with the services addressed within the RFP.  Over the past few years it has been common to hear that nothing has changed in these areas.  RDH continues to adopt and implement new technology and state of the art practices in order to provide more efficient, cost effective, timely and accurate techniques to meet our client needs.  New developments and survey techniques being implemented include:

Paperless inspections for large multi-inspector surveys utilizing handheld PDA’s with programmed touch screens.  Data gathered during the inspection is downloaded, synchronized with other inspector’s data, and transmitted to one of our offices for early commencement of report preparation and seamless integration of laboratory analysis.  These paperless inspections are particularly useful for clients with remote facilities and short completion schedules.  Report time is reduced, costs are reduced as administrative time is almost eliminated and opportunity for typographical errors is also greatly minimized.

RDH has implemented the innovative use of digital infrared camera technology for microbial, moisture intrusion and building envelope investigations.  Microbial contaminants generally require three environmental conditions to thrive: sufficient temperature, an organic food source, and water.  The infrared camera allows the inspector to look through walls, roofs, and floors to identify location and the source of water intrusion into a facility.  By repairing or correcting the source of the moisture intrusion, the growth of new contaminants is greatly curtailed.

Leica Universal System 1200 GPS and TPS combines all of the possibilities of terrestrial surveying and global positioning.  Utilization of this robotic system eliminate the need for replication of detail points, reduces survey crew effort and labor and reduces the time required for the completion of the project in both the field and the office.  This translates to a faster and more efficient project turn around for the client.

In an effort to provide clients with continual updates and project communication, RDH has client specific, on-line project tracking services.  Clients with multiple projects in several locations can log on to our project website using a secure pass code and check the progress, documentation, analyses, or other information of a specific project at anytime from anyplace that has an internet connection. Communication is a significant key to any successful relationship.

RDH continually strives to provide state of the art, professional and comprehensive solutions for clients.  Through professional development, education and the implementation of the latest technology, RDH will continue to improve and innovate our services in order to stay a step ahead of the competition, leading the way for our clients.
